1990After gaining a City and Guild welding and fabrication qualification, Mike Hemming founded MJH Fabrications. Initially he was a sole trader, working on his own with a MIG welder.
1994The hard work paid off and as his reputation grew, Mike took on staff to help meet the increasing requirements from customers.
1996MJH brought a CNC punch press and brake press to broaden the variety of work which could be undertaken.
2001MJH entered the world of laser cutting when they purchased
a Masak laser.
2002MJH became a limited company.
2006The existing laser was replaced with a Bystronic laser to keep pace with advancing technology.
2011MJH invested in a new Amada F1 4kW CO2 laser to meet growing customer needs.
2015Whilst growing into 20,000ft premises and going from strength to strength, MJH was becoming known as a fabrication company capable of offering consistent reliability, quality and service.
2019With the metal fabrication industry transitioning from CO2 to fibre laser, the Amada F1 laser needed updating. Along came the Amada Ensis 3015AJ 9kW fibre laser.
2020MJH’s increased production meant that an additional identical 9kW Amada fibre laser was installed.
