Laser Cutting

Laser cutting is used for an increasing number of applications in sheet metal processing and possesses unique qualities. The high level of production flexibility and the almost unlimited diversity of materials and shapes explain its worldwide recognition as an indispensable basic technology. High precision of the dimensions and minimum heat distortion of the sheet parts are the two main advantages that combine to provide first class cutting results. We can laser cut your mild steel sheet up to 15mm thick and 3m x 1.5m in size

Laser cutting produces exact cuts in virtually any shape and through materials that would destroy or be destroyed by contact with cutting tools. Some materials are also very difficult or impossible to cut by more traditional means.

Features and Advantages of Laser Cutting Include:
• Flat sheet cutting
• Extremely sharp edge definition
• Ability to cut complex shapes with high repeatability
• Minimal distortion
• No variations due to tool wear
• No physical contact of tooling
• Alternative to cutting dies for low volume production
• No cutting lubricants required
• No mechanical force on workpiece
• No tool wear
• Very fine cut width
• Narrow heat affected zone
• Low thermal input
